Sandrine Philippe / Paris, France
Founded: 1996

Sandrine Philippe approaches menswear as a form of storytelling—rooted in texture, memory, and emotion. Designed and handcrafted in Paris, her collections are poetic explorations of identity, transformation, and the tension between strength and vulnerability.

Renowned for her ability to develop bespoke, artisanal textiles; Sandrine works with raw natural materials, experimental treatments, and hand-finishing techniques, she creates garments that appear aged, scarred, and deeply personal. Leather, wool, and cotton are cut, deconstructed, and reconstructed—resulting in silhouettes that are at once sculptural and wearable.

With an emphasis on craftsmanship and a rejection of mass production, each piece is infused with philosophical weight and individuality.

At AZUL New York, we work closely with Sandrine to develop exclusive pieces for our store—custom designs that reflect both her unique creative language and our curatorial point of view.
